My practice of gratitude
Timing is everything. We hear that with almost everything. In my quest of practicing gratitude, I found that the optimal time is the morning. This has helped shape my day by waking up super positive and appreciating things more throughout the day. However, I practice reciting my grateful list twice a day. Once in the morning,as mentioned, and once, right before heading to bed.

How long does it take? For me, only one minute. I write my list and then visualize each thing I am grateful for. I visualize the joy and good memories of each item on my list.
Where do I do it? I like to practice gratitude anywhere I am alone. As this does not take me long and brings positive emotions, it helps me get back to everyday life with the people I interact with everyday.
I hope this short outlining of my path to practicing gratitude helps. I plan on adding my list of things I am grateful again.
